Since i'm getting bored and have nothing to do, how about we share with each other our own lost primarchs and what happened to them and their legions?
I'll start:

The two lost primarchs are Sevastian Lorax, lord of the 2nd legion, the "War-Bards", and Cretacius Rex, lord of the 11nth legion, the "Extinctors".

Sevastian was the third primarch to be found, after Horus and Leman Russ. He was found on the planet of Arthupia, already conquered by the primarch, who obtained control by gainig the respect and love of the people.
Sevastian was a strong, good-looking man with long, black hair and moustache, and was able to understand almost unnaturally fast a person's true self, allowing his clever mind to always know the right thing to say. Seeing that his father's objectives were pure and his brothers were good men, he happily accepted to join the Imperium.
His legion, renamed the "War-Bards", were known to use less destructive tactics than the other legions, trying to encourage the enemy to surrender and accept the imperial truth peacefully.
Sevastian was a good friend of Magnus the Red, Fulgrim and Vulkan, but was barely able to speak with Konrad Curze, angron and ferrus Manus, who saw him as weak.
However, Sevastian eventually realized that, while his father's objective were noble, his methods were almost tyrannical. Sevastian's methods were, instead, always aimed to his people's health and happiness, almost like the kings of old fairy tales.
Realizing that he couldn't go against his father and he couldn't bring peace and happiness to the whole galaxy, Sevastian slowly fell into a depression, but kept protecting his world and his legion.

Eventually Cretacius Rex, primarch of the 11nth legion, was found on the world of Antrumus, a primitive world populated by cavemen and dinosaur-like creatures. Cretacius had become the king of the entire world and surrounded himself with several wives and hunt-trophies. Cretacius accepted to join the Imperium only after defeating Leman Russ in hand-to-hand combat, being defeated by the Emperor in the same kind of fight and being offered many battles and glory.
Cretacius was a big, muscled man, with an impressive beard. Almost the perfect emblem of manhood, his brutal appearence was ruined only by two small horns on his forehead, a mutation gifted to him by the warp the day that he was separated from the Emperor.
Cretacius was a savage beast in combat, wielding a massive chainsword in one hand and a power-fist with flamer in the other.

Cretacius considered the other primarchs to be weak and Angron himself considered him to be shamefully dishonorable, not different from the spoiled tyrants they fought. When Sevastian first met Cretacius, he was disgusted by his brother's selfishness and egocentrism.
After several years, Sevastian finally decided that he had enough of his father's projects and the unnecessary violence used by some of his brothers. Disobeying his father's orders, Sevastian arrived on the planet where Cretacius was last sent, so that he may face his most evil brother and stop him. Considering his ideals of peace only an unrealizable dream, he renamed his legion the "Utopists" and ordered to paint their armor green, the colour of hope.
Sevastian was contacted by Magnus, who knew his brother's intentions and pleaded for him to stop. When Sevastian refused, Magnus decided, with a heavy heart, to warn the Emperor.
Lorax found the world destroyed, full of corpses of both soldiers and civilians. Rex was celebrating his new victory, along with his legion, by pillaging the world of all of his resources and executing those who previously surrendered.
Soon an all-out war started between the two legions and, after a brutal fight, Cretacius defeated and killed his brother Sevastian, lifting his corpse with his power fist and burning it with his flame thrower. The defeated war-bards retrated but, instead of surrendering, they started using guerrilla warfare to survive the enemy legion and, at the same time, forcing it to remain on the planet.
When the Emperor arrived on the planet, accompanied by Leman Russ, Cretacius called them both weak and foolish, for not punishing the lesser men for their weakness. Rex believed that, since he was strong, he had the right to take what he wanted from everyone that could not stop him, and he intended to show the Emperor that he had become stronger than him. Leman Russ stepped in, challenging Cretacius to a duel to the death, which rex accepted, sure to be able to defeat Russ a second time. However, this time Leman won the fight, decapitating Cretacius as a sign of contempt.
To make sure that no one ever knew that a primarch had killed another primarch, the Emperor ordered that Sevastian and Cretacius were to be forgotten. All records of them were deleted and their legions absorbed by the already numerous ultramarines, so that the high number of marines wold not result suspect.
The Emperor and Malcador, only ones authorized to speak of the two primarchs, started calling them only "the forgotten" (Sevastian) and "the purged" (Cretacius).
While the world of Cretacius was destroyed by exterminatus, the homeworld of Sevastian was spared, being simply deleted by imperial maps, as the Emperor considered Lorax to be just a victim.

The two forgotten legions fought in the Horus Heresy as part of the ultramarines.
After the Horus Heresy and the creation of the Codex Astartes, Guilliman created two chapters composed of the genetic heirs of the lost legions, even naming them the "Utopists" and the "Extinctors", to honour the death of his unremembered brothers, not knowing what crime had been committed by Cretacius.
The Utopists still remembered their primarch and decided that, even if the Imperium was now even worse than how it was during the Great Crusade, it was also the only thing that could save mankind from extinction, and they would have fought for it to keep protecting mankind. The utopists eventually found their homeworld and were welcomed back home as angels of ancient legends.
The Extinctors, instead, soon decided to abandon the Imperium, now lead by weak old bureaucrats, and go into the Eye of Terror to make a deal with the Chaos Gods. After a civil war erupted within the chapter between the followers of Khorne and the servants of Slaanesh, the now warband was united under Chaos Undivide by a powerful chaos lord once member of the Black Legion, who met the extinctors' primarch when he was still a Luna Wolf chapter master.

This my story of the lost primarchs and their legions. Now you tell me your versions of the primarchs, the legions and what happened to them.

Suddenly I dig the rumours that the Space Wolves offed both those legions.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

But now let's hear about your home-made primarchs and legions. What are your ideas?

In the Warp, getting trolled by Tactical_Spam, AKA TZEENTCH INCARNATE

I like your two Primarchs, Cretacius Rex seems like a swell dude (you've got to be impressively evil if even Angron thinks you're being an gakhole) Their Legions aren't fleshed out a lot, though; I'd really like to know how the War-Bards went to war when their attempts at diplomacy failed

My own Second Legion, the Taurans is led by El Moro, 'The Bull' . El Moro hails from Landusa, which is basically medieval Islamic Spain in SPACE, where he was raised amongst desert tribes. Later, one of the powerful aristocratic families ruling Landusa took an interest in the young Primarch, seeing in him a chance to get rid of their rivals once and for all. El Moro reluctantly entered their service after they threatened to exterminate his entire tribe, and soon became a mighty warrior and skilled general under the auspices of the best tutors the family could afford. It did not take long before his new family reigned supreme over Landusa and its neighbouring planets, and El Moro was handsomely rewarded for his efforts; but deep down, he had come to resent the aristocracy and their endless petty squabbles. He also despised their treatment of the lower classes, especially those hailing from desert tribes, who were pretty much slaves to the ruling class.

Before he could move against them, however, the Emperor arrived, bringing with him a Legion for El Moro to lead. El Moro was enamoured by the Emperor's ideal of uniting humanity, and decided to use his newfound status as son of the Emperor of Mankind to take control of Landusa and put an end to its inequal treatment of its citizens. The changes he intended to push through met fierce resistance from the aristocracy, however, so a compromise had to be made; the lower classes became free citizens with basic rights (and some political power), whilst the aristocracy was allowed to keep its position of power.

After taking control over his planet and its domain, he began to rebuild his Legion, as it had been badly depleted prior to his discovery. To enforce the ideas of brotherhood and the unification of mankind, the new recruits were taken from all layers of society; tribesman and aristocrat were to stand side by side against the horrors of the universe.

The aristocracy did not agree with this vision of unity, however, and thus sought other ways to establish its dominance over the 'lower' classes; even from within the ranks of the Astartes. As time passed on, a rift began to form within the Legion, the internal conflict culminating in the events that would see the Taurans wiped from history for all eternity...

El Moro himself was known as a strong-willed, intelligent and humble man, whose accomplishments were marred by his naivety and idealism, which made him blind to the internal conflicts that plagued his Legion. He did not get along well with many of his fellow Primarchs; only in Jaghatai Khan and Magnus the Red did El Moro find true friends.

I still have a lot of things to work out for these guys, but I'm pretty happy with the basic outline I've got so far I'm working on a full story about these guys in a thread in the Dakka Fiction category, which you can find here: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/707722.page, if you're interested in reading more about the Taurans and their Primarch

I heard a homebrew a while back that claimed one of the Primarchs landed on a planet that had recently been overrun by Orks.
The Orks gathered around the capsule to find aout about the "Shiny 'umie tech" to their surprise the capsule popped open and a lil 'umie crawled out. The Warboss grabbed the ugly crettin' to throttle it cuz nobody knew nuttin about raising 'umie spawn. To the Boss's suprise the child responded by latching on to him with his mouth. It had no tusks or teeth but the little tyke dug its gums into the Boss's arm enough to make him bleed heavily.
Impressed the Warboss adopted the child as his own, desperately he saught to find a human slave to nourish the child but to no avail, none of the slaves produced milk, as a final act of charity the Boss put the child in his shirt, as he'd seen 'umie women carry their offspring in such cloth to spend its last night.
To the Boss's surprise the brat had not only survived the night but doubled in size, having found nourishment enough in the Boss's blood.
Impressed but still a bit careless the Boss left the child in a pen with his pet fighting Squiggs and went about his day's brawling.
He returned home to find both his pets dead and the child gnawing on their remains.
Outraged the Boss backhanded the child, only to have it swing on the end of his hand rather than fly away under the impact. Once again the child had bitten the Warboss, this time however, it was clearly hanging on by small but pointed teeth.

For the next few years the child travelled with the Orks and grew at an astounding rate, on a healthy diet of whatever it is Orks eat and as often as not his fellow Orks. Interestingly the diet had given the Primarch a greenish tinge in his skin and impressive tusks in a powerful lower jaw - as well as inheriting the nickname 'Grabtusk' for his tendency to catch opponent's blows in his mouth. He was quickly recruited into his father's raiding party and rose swiftly through the ranks, often irritating his adoptive father with his tendency to not only take a tusk from his vanquished foes but eat them wholesale but Ork culture is what it is and the Boss continued to urge the child to seek greater opponents.
Irritating though it's habits were the child was a natural and successful leader and warrior and soon enough the Warboss was on the menu.
More years passed and the Emperor finally located the 19th of his missing Primarchs, razing a city of humans at the head of an Ork WAAARGH!!!
Along with the forces of Russ and his Space Wolves and Khan with his White Scars the Emperor broke the Orks' assault, captured the wayward son and quickly set about getting him to acknowledge his father and rightful Lord.
Russ and Khan agreed on little but one thing they both held in common was a sense of hopelessness as they watched their "Brother" grab a nearby corpse and start gnawing on it, as blind to the Emperor's glory as Russ had first been.
Recalling his second foundling the Emperor struck at his latest foundling with much the same blow that had put Leman of the Russ on his arse and brought him into the Imperial fold.
Grabtusk made an almost impossible weave and the Emperor stared in surprise at the creature holding his gauntlet in his teeth.
Russ and Khan both broke into helpless laughter, it is said this sole agreement is what stayed Khan from attacking the Wolves under Horus' orders at the close of the Heresy.
Outraged the Emperor struck Grabtusk a second time, before the Primarch could release his bite. The blow dislodged Grabtusk's hold and sent him spinning to the ground unconscious. The three awaited his revival and the process began anew with no progress ever made in the Primarch's acknowledgement of his father and Lord, nor any sating his taste for Ork flesh.
At the discovery of his final sons Alpharius and Omegron the Emperor called it quits and stuffed his Orkish son into a pod, sending it shooting into the furthest reaches of the universe, further he forbade Russ and Khan any mention of this son and distributed the forces between his chapters.

Rumours have reached Imperial ears of a cannibalistic ork whose appitite has quelled entire WAAARGH!!!s before they passed the outliers of Imperial space, such rumours are of course silenced before they travel into inner Imperial space.
