So, it was my first time priming something that didn't have its own base and thus I couldn't just tape to a stick to spray. I ended up spraying the whole thing and then set it down on some paper towels like a complete moron. Now I've got paper towel stuck on the bottom of my Night Scythe. Should I just strip the paint and if so what should I use for it or is there an easier way?

if it is just a paper towel i would use some water and soap on the soft side of a sponge and wash it will the paper tower and stuff comes clean off then give it a light rinse. then try it off with a cloth and wait till its try, should clean off most of the mess and if you dont have a good way to keep them lifted just do one part at a time mate

You''re saying you "sprayed" it.
If you sprayed it with an airbrush, and the paint is acrylic, try soaking the towel in water for a while and see if you can gently remove it. You're probably going to need to strip it since its probably going to screw up the finish even if it does come off.
If you sprayed it with a spray paint can, you will need to strip it.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've gotten most of the paper towel off now but it looks like it ruined the finish on my priming so I'm gonna have to strip it. I've got it soaking now.

Yeah it could be worse. At least you didn't accidentally spray painted model with primer when you were supposed to spray it with varnish Now THAT sucks!
