Okay, just a quick question today. I was playing a friendly game and this guy had Choas Terminators. He said he kitted them all out with the "power weapon" called "Power Scourge"... but it just seemed a little OP to have on every troop and he basically demolished me no matter what I sent in.... I've never seen a Power Scourge used on terminators before (I know it's on Dreadnoughts). Is this within the rules?

Your opponent was wrong. Terminators come with a "Power Weapon" which have rules located in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.

As to whether this was due to simple misunderstanding or not, I've no idea.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

I looked at his codex and it said "power weapons" and then he showed me the wargear list and the "Power Scourge" not seeing the small box in the corner that said Power weapons can be found in the rule book... so I honestly think it was gakky wording from GW and not his fault.

Yeah, unless that Power Scourge is another term for Sword, Maul, Axe, or Lance, he was pulling crap.

The Power Scourge is a very specific Weapon. It is as related to a Power Weapon as a Power Fist, with the exception that Terminators can get a Power Fist, while they do not have access to the Power Scourge.

The Power Scourge is actually found in the next army list entry below the Terminators, the Helbrute. So, it could be that they accidentally messed up their army list reading (it happens, occasionally) rather than specifically attempting to cheat.

The only Terminators that have anything that looks close to that Weapon are the Deathwing Knights' Flail of the Unforgiven, which doesn't have the power of the Power Scourge.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?
