So, I thought I’d see how a Decurion would look like this edition laid out. I’ve stuck to the models required in Decurion, but not the wargear, as the meta has changed dramatically.

Outrider Detachment

Reclamation Legion
1x Overlord w/ SoL - 119
10x Warriors w/ghost ark - 290
10x Warriors - 120
5x Immortals w/tesla - 80
3x Tomb blades w/ 2x GB, SV, SL – 159
Total: 768

Canoptek Harvest
3x Wraiths w/ PC-126
1x Spyder w/ GP, FCA- 89
3x Scarabs – 39
Total: 254

D-Cult
D-lord w/ SoL, RO – 177
3x Destroyers w/GC – 189
3x Destroyers w/GC – 189
3x Destroyers w/GC – 189
3x H. Destroyers w/HGC – 225
Total: 968

Total: 1991

Overall, not too bad. The O/lord stays about the warriors, buffs the immortals to get 5+ Tesla.

Having a big midfield blob of good shooting is nice, and the fact the troops are in squads of 10 means you can swap them out of the GA to ensure they get back to full size as quickly as possible. 60 rapid fire S4 ap-1 shots from 20 dudes split firing.

Canoptek harvest looks good, I gave the wraiths the particle casters as that is going to do more damage than whip coils (Can finally remodel them to not have those annoying things on there). Gloom prism on the Spyder is pretty handy. Having a chance to deny an attack is good, especially with the rule of one these days. Fabricator claw array means It can stay near the GA and keep that blob of midfield gauss alive for even longer.

D-Cult is strong, but expensive. Lord stays back now buffing his units, and that area of the board will put out a lot of damage.

Tomb blades :( Sah expensive now. Ran a 5++ instead of the ignores cover, the gauss blasters effectively do that, and the points are better spent on keeping them alive for longer.

Obviously its not optimised, I'd drop the spyder, possibly the tomb blades to get a C'tan in there now, I'd love a monolith but its just too expensive.

Just for pure point comparison sake, that would have been a 1633point list.

Aren't Heavy Destroyers 75 points each (43+32)? Or am I reading it wrong?
