I've seen references to units with "Unaligned" as their faction that can be taken by any detachment in the leaked rules. Have we seen anything with the Unaligned faction yet?

First thing that comes to mind are fortifications. But maybe we'll see mercenaries? I hope Kroot becomes one of these. it would be incredibly fluffy for kroot to be unaligned and hired out to other races (except maybe the Tyranids. Kroot hate them as much as the imperium hates chaos and heretics).
