This is a bit of a weird question. Do you mean how do you identify who is a character if they don't have an obvious character name?

The way you tell if any model is a character, named or not, is by the keyword <character> as mentioned above.

Named characters usually have their name after all of their usual key words too, rather than the generic title for their battlefield rank. For example, Captain comes after the generic Captain profile, but Captain Lysander gets "Lysander" instead.

Should be listed in keywords, signifying their apparent immunity to being targeted at range unless 2 ft. away lol
