So I started painting a little under a year ago. I feel like I've reached a point where I can get a reasonable tabletop standard but I want to start working on upping my game.

I've just started working on this model, the first time I've attempted the 'split' pattern of the Angels Sanguine. I'm looking for really any tips and advice for highlighting these colours, get good finish on colours, and specifically on giving the robes good depth.

So far all that has been done is base colours and washes, and then I've gone back in places and touched up the base colours where the wash settled too heavily.

Also, yay or nay on the white skulls over the gold?
