40k 8E.

Seems to be a little controversy, but as I read it: if I have 30 point weapon standard and swap in a 40 point weapon, I pay 10? That's how I read it and seems to me as the only way a unified weapon list works... but I'm getting some serious arguments. Thoughts?

Or does nothing have standard equipment anymore

If there's a 100 point figure with a 30 point weapon as standard and a 40 point swap option, you either pay 130 or 140.

Other thing I want to know: do I have to buy a weapon for my razorback?

I don't think there's any way to delete standard wargear, only swap it. Get a rhino instead? The cheaper gun makes it 10 points cheaper for standard loadout.

It was just an example of something being cheaper if you weren't compelled to buy standard gear.

The datasheet for each unit will tell you what the unit comes with as standard. You have to buy this. In the case of a Razorback it's the twin Heavy Bolter.
