I recall reading a book and there was a super powerfull psycher in it and I cant find it since.

He described the warp as a roiling ocean, and that people floated on top of it. He said that psychers penetrate that sea and send down tendrils that warp demons noticed and then attack. He also mentioned being able to reel in his own tendrils, and because of it the psychic deamons couldnt see him.

Anyone got an idea?

Doesn't ring a bell. All this talk about tendrils gets me thinking about Tyranids though, so maybe it's from genestealer cults or something similar?
