Hey Dallas, I was wondering how detachments and 'allies' work
For example, if I wanted to include the changing and some other tzeentch demon units into my thousand sons army, how would one go about doing it? I am having trouble understanding this
Pick up chaos as your faction keyword for detachment and take them as normal.
Alternativly have one detachment for thousand sons and one detachment for daemons. As both share keyword they would be valid for matched play while having 2 detachments with more specialized keywords which MIGHT be useful in future when codex comes out with maybe bonuses for factions.
But currently easiest just use chaos keyword and take any unit with chaos keyword.
I have another question, do I need to take a thousand sons allegiance army to access Rubric Marines as a troops choice, if so can I take one detachment with the thousand sons allegiance, and take another one with the tzeentch allegiance?
