Need to figure out an HQ for my second detachment of heavy support units.

What so you guys think? I have 163 points available.

aren't you missing an hq for your second detachment?
I assume you are taking the three elite vanguard detachment, 3 heavy support spearhead detachment.

Or are you taking the vanguard detachment, and then taking an auxilliary heavy support and losing the command point. I think this is the case, but you wrote detachment 2 for the purgation squads

Otherwise looks really good. Paladins are harder to remove then ever and god forbid you roll 9+ on that deep strike charge!

Yes I need an HQ for the second detachment thats what I am trying to determine. Looking for suggestions as to what I should add there.

Also considered dropping the dk making a single formation and adding a knight for the heavy hitter.

perhaps you could make use of some other unit slots. You might need something that can crack very heavy armor like a land raider in case you don't get off your turn one charges. Maybe a dreadnought would work well with the right weapons?

I was thinking that. That is why I was thinking an IK might fit well or keeping the Dreadknight. I think a Ven. Dread is probably better for the points though so might make that swap.
