ok, so im only twelve years old, but i like to think that i have some skill in painting warhammer.i recently won the Salisbury model convention junior section gold,and i have mastered many techniques such as basic layering(best) on flesh, airbrushing,osl,weathering etc.my friend-who is not bad at painting but not brilliant,challenged me to a friendly paint off to see who is the better.i am going to paint a painboy, which i am also going to enter in next years Salisbury model show.any tips on glass phials, see thorough tubes, or any techniques to up my game?n.b please do not be patronising and say things like learn to walk before you can run, because i get that a lot .but anyways, i will try to post a pictures soon of the winning entry.

Try searching outside Dakka for "guild ball compound painting". Compound has phials on his back, if they are what you are trying to get.

I remember an old 'Eavy Metal Masterclass book I've got lying around had a great tutorial for painting those. Message me a reminder and I'll see if i can find it the next time I'm home. I think it dealt with vials and syringes on some Dark Eldar, but overall was pretty compelling.
