Ok so here's a question for all of you nostalgia collectors.
I got a few of the Battle for Vedros sets, specifically the Terminator Assault box that comes with 5 oldschool Terminators and a AoBR Dread. The Dread is going to my fledgling Chapter, but the Terminators I found to be perfect for a retro Deathwing Army.
My problem is, should I keep them on the smaller 25mm that they come with, or go out and buy some 40mms for them? This is not for advantage or anything; I kinda wanna keep them on the small bases because, at the time, they would have been on those bases (and this is a retro army). However they look a lot better on 40mms.
For all of you that are also collecting retro armies, what are your thoughts?

It's weird because the aobr terminators came on 40mm bases. It was the old metal ones and the first plastic set that were on 25.
I'd personally go for 40, looks better, less wobbly, and no potential headaches with that guy.

My choice would be 40mm.

To clarify, the Dreadnought was the AoBR one. The Terminators are the ancient plastic ones from 3rd edition (or I think even as old as 2nd edition). The only weapon option they have is a heavy flamer.

Isn't that the Revell build and paint set you got then? I thought Battle for Vedros was all AoBR type pieces?

Are we talking about the really skinny metal guys who look like they're standing at attention? I was under the impression that it was almost exactly like the AoBR guys as well...

Huh, well I'll be a stuffed bomb squig. It isn't actually under the Vedros label. I assumed so cuz it was packaged with the same display as Vedros.
For those that don't know what we're on about, it's this set:

Aaaaahhh okay. If that's the case, then perhaps I'll switch my vote to 25mm unless you really want to make some scenic 40mm bases that fill the space well.

Honestly? 30mm...but they're from Renedra so they're flat. Best look for Terminators and jump troops.
