Played my first game of 8e, had a good time and lost. (Opponent's long history of Sigmar gave him an up on me, I think!)

Here's my list.

BATTALION
Draigo (Purge and HH)
Pally Ancient, SB
SM Bike Libby, Bg, TBg, Stave (Veil and Might)
Strikes 5x, SBs (Gate)
Guardsmen 10x
Ibid.
Purfs 5x, SBs (HH)
Callidus
Vindicare
Intercepts 5x, SBs, Hamm
Stormraven, THPC, TMM, Hurribolt 2x
NDK, FistHam, Teleport (HH)
Ibid. (HH)
Purgators 10x, SBs, Psilencer 4x (Gate)

Reserves: Draigo, Strike, Interceptors, Callidus, NDKs,
Ancient and Purfs in the Raven for a T1 charge and good positioning for Banner.
Purgators Gate into awesome position to mow down infantry.
Libby can Advance if necessary to be in range for both powers.
Guardsmen hide'n'hold (TM).

Interesting; You might be better off with a different HQ though as many of those units wont benefit from Draigo's buffs.

I saw with eyes then young, and this is my testament.

The SM Libby (who shouldn't be anywhere near Draigo anyhow--avoid combat!), the Guardsmen (who shouldn't be anywhere near Draigo--avoid combat!), the Vindi (who shouldn't be anywhere near Draigo--avoid combat!) and the Callidus (who should be causing havoc in a corner)...those are the four units out of 14 that won't benefit.

Soooo I'm unsure what you're talking about.....?

The point isn't that those units should be near Draigo. The point is that if you're spending an eighth of your points on a force multiplier that's not benefiting a third of your army it seems like you might be better-served spending the points elsewhere.

Unless you think he can/should put his whole army within 6" of Driago, i'm not sure this really matters.
