I'm considering purchasing some for my Green Tide Ork army now that blasts are gone.

When you hit melee, you'll have to stop using them; but unless you're facing Deathstrike Missiles, clumping up isn't an issue anymore for aoe.

I can see them being useful for the first couple of turns to keep the movement phase as short as possible for dude spam Guard and Ork players. But I won't be using them.

I use a magnetic strip to move my gaunts about.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.
