My current project at work is to get the store demo box of dark imperium painted up.
These guys are just lovely to paint, Even for me who hates highlighting and never does anything clean.

Not realistic in the slightest - in fact it's almost cartoony - but it looks great!

I was trying to paint out of my comfort zone. I normally stick to earthy tones with alot of shade and washing, but since the manager wants a studio style ultramarine army for the box, That's what I'm doing.
(I had to fight the temptation to go oldschool and do them with bright yellow trim EVERYWHERE.)

Working my way through the store box to get it ready for the weekend release. Currently about 4 hours of painting time in and I've got 5 marines done, every model is sprayed and has had an initial wash.
