I know I'm keen to get stuck into the Death Guard while my brother gets his paints ready for his Primaris Ultras. I'm mostly looking forward to painting the Lord of Contagion and bringing out the Blood for the Blood God and Typhus Corrosion/ Ryza Rust shenanigans to really bring out some heinous Nurgle goodness.

I'm looking forward to painting all of it. Really liking the Primaris sculpts (especially their characters) and can't wait to get them into my Salamanders force however I'm really excited to paint the Death Guard stuff as I've never painted anything like them before so I can try and learn new techniques and painting styles which is awesome.

Overall I'm very hyped

I'm definitely looking forward to getting my hands on the Primaris Marines from a painting perspective, though to be honest there's a decent chance I'll be converting them with more traditional weapons, helms and backpacks to be up-scaled Marines for Inq28/Kill Team/Shadow War ect rather than use them as Primaris. Regardless of the fluff and changed aesthetics, as a painter I look forward to having a larger 'canvas' to work on to make some truly imposing Marines.

The Primaris Ancient and Lieutenant are just fantastic sculpts so I'll be painting them stock regardless of what else I do with the set.

The Nurgle stuff I can take or leave, but some of the characters and Plague Marines are great and I have been wanting to do some more Nurgle. so I may just do up a small force, again for skirmish games.

I was until I saw the models. Now, I won't be buying it. That, indirectly, is a good thing as it saves me money.

I'm excited about painting the whole thing, especially the Nurgle guys. The Primaris fellows are likely to become truescaled HH marines of some kind, while the Death Guard are joining the ranks of my CSM.

Gonna be splitting the box with a friend and taking the Primaris marines. Now all of a sudden I've got a fledgling Space Marine army to start, so I've had to think about the colour scheme.

I've wanted to make up my own Chapter since I was a kid, so I settled on putting in the work to think up a scheme and background I liked It's been great fun.

More or less decided on the colours of the Lions of Sigmar Stormcast Eternals from Age of Sigmar, my local GW painted their starter set in that style and it looks phenomenal. Plus I need a colour distinct from the Green of my Orks and the White/Blue of my Eldar, and I like purple!

I don't like them. I've always considered nurgle stuff among the worst miniatures in 40k and I'm not a fan of space marines either. Also those massive marines look too silly, especially the three dudes with jump packs. I was unlucky: SM and chaos are, with daemons and tau, the only armies that I don't like how they look.

I like those nurgle models; they've got character.

I saw with eyes then young, and this is my testament.

I'd love to see your painted figures when you do them! I wanna see what you all do with them. I might chuck up my own and my brother's too

I'm excited about all of it. In fact, I've already bought it - I pre-ordered and paid for it, and I'll pick up a couple of the indexes as well.

All the miniatures are great. That hovering Nurgle thing is probably my favourite, but I'll paint them all. The Hollywood marines are cool, and I'm looking forward to painting the Nurgle stuff, because I've never painted any of that stuff before, and I have a pot of Nurgle's Rot I need to use.

This will be the first time I've painted Nurgle too. I've been a loyalist for most of my 40k career, except for the occasional toe in Tau and Orks. But I've always liked Chaos, just not the figures. So these new figures have tainted me and driven me to the fowl but glorious embrace of Nurgle.

I'll be painting the heck out of all that sweet death guard stuff! can't wait to get my hands on 'em!

...of course, I have been a big fan of nurgle for quite some time already, so this was a no-brainer!

...it's good to be green!
