I've got an alpha legion army list that I'm trying to keep "pure"/closet loyalist and I would like to know what the best way to put some fire power in, because right now the most I've got is ork levels of dice with bolters and a contemptor with a plasma cannon and powerfist, and a small sprinkling of meltas on bikes and with in the marines

How about auto cannon/las or las/las predators? They are really good this edition.

you could even run a space marines flyer counts as helldrake to say it is not corrupted and just has a flamer or auto cannon. call the 5++ a force field as opposed to the demonic save, and repair protocols for the infernal regeneration

predators are great as mentioned.

you could also run devastators as havoks

loyalist dreds as hellbrutes that malfunction on a 6 instead of crazed

Given that at some point Alpha Legion will probably be able to pay CP to infiltrate units it may be better to think about fast movers.
