Apologies if this has been asked before, but search yeilded way too many results.

I was just curious how much stock you all put in Rule Boyz rule...er rulings.

None?

Email them three times, and most likely you will get three different answers.

You should put as much stock into a Rulezboyz answer as you would if that answer came from any other gamer or online poster. Rulezboyz are employed by GW customer service, but they don't have access to any secret store of knowledge or a direct outlet to ask the games designers questions.

So each individual rulezboy is as knowledgeable about the game as the amount of time they have taken to learn the rules.

That is why if you call/email the Rulezboyz and talk to 3 different people, you will often get three different answers.

In short, I think you are better off asking your questions on a forum such as this one than you are asking the rulezboyz for information.

I thought you only had to talk to them twice to get the three different answers.

Maybe that was a limited-time special. Another price increase, eh?

Fixed your typo.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

LoL yep, have to agree. Well....I'm at 100% when they agree with me =)

I've been in a few good debates online, but just as I believe I'm right, so does the other guy. At the same time, I've seen rule debates where the majority was way off.

Ah well, can't say I was expecting a different response.

About all the Droolzboyz are good for is breaking a deadlock... if you don't have a quarter to flip.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
