Deamon Deatchment
Herald of Nurgle
7 Nurglings
7 Nurglings
7 Nurglings

The Idea

Nurglings act as screening units for the knights and objective takers. The 21 stands are 84 wounds of 5++, DR models. I expect all of the multi-wound weapons will be used against the knights.
With a herald the nurglings also have STR 3 attacks.

Questions
* I tried to vary up the weapon loadout a bit. Is this a good idea?

* Is it worth it to put a sword on a knight? My thought was to use it to hit hard targets like LRBTs.

* Has anyone tried 3 knights with something like a bunch of nurglings. I like them a touch more than brimstone horrors because the nurglings have more damage output.

I was going to vary it up and see how it works.

Hey lab,

I like the list

Opponents who bring a mix, Ie, Anti-Tank and Anti-Horde. They will suffer.

Opponents who are allowed to tailor a list, I think you will lose the knights pretty quickly.

As for the DP's.

I'd recommend Nurgle to make them tanky.

Are you looking at the Chaos deamons or Chaos space marines deamon princes?

both are good, the space marines one has 8 wounds instead of 10 so is a bit squishier but being a character cannot be targeted too easily so I would say ends up being harder to kill.

the Chaos deamons one not only gets 2 more wounds but also the Chaos god special rule (ex: disgustingly resilient if you go nurgle) too so even if he can be targeted he can certainly do his thing.

Either way, his DP's will be targeted. He will likely fly them ahead of the Knights.

Otherwise, theres very little point giving them wings.

So the Chaos Daemon one would be my call.

I've updated it a bit with some nurglings instead of DPs.

I'd like to get input on this. Has anyone tried something similar yet?
