Hello DakkaDakka!

I've been a lurker around here for awhile and figured I'd start sharing what I've been working on and hopefully get some feedback. See what you like, dont like, etc. Currently I've been working on designing pipes for scatter terrain. Currently I have only modeled end pieces and junction pieces. Over the coming week(s) I will be working on cosmetics that can be added to the pipes. Things like extra vents, check points, control panels, etc. My end goal is a pipe set that can be used for water, waste, chemical, air vents, etc. I am also going to create a more futuristic/scifi based pipe system after this system is complete. (but lets take one thing at a time) So, I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on how I can improve what I have and what you guys would like to see. As I finish these designs I will be printing and painting them. Below is what I have so far

Let me know what you guys think! Looking forward to getting feedback from everyone.

Slick rings.

how are they sized?

i dont think there is a particular suppliers for fittings for standard PVC pipes. pvc pipes being cheap and available.

i think these could be very good for that.

I've designed them to fit the average 3/4" pvc pipes actually. I shouldve stated that in the opening. I'll need to verify fitting and may make some adjustments. Otherwise they may need mild sanding after being printed depending on the manufacturer specs. That was my thought/motivation behind the design. By providing end pieces, couplings and cosmetics one would be able to turn pvc pieces into cheap scatter terrain, los blockers, or scale to an "industrial chemical plants".

With these being digital files they can be easily scaled and you could have 4" pipes ruining everyone's day lol I'll definitely make sure to provided pre-scaled options though so people can just choose the pipe size they want and run with it.
