(most) Terrain rules are optional in 8th. Meaning no difficult terrain, etc. Just common-sense like you can't move through impassible terrain (walls) and it cost movement points to scale a building.

Who plans on using them, and who doesn't?

I think practically everyone will use the "advance rules" for battle forged and terrain.

I'm going to use cities of death rules as well (except the sewer rats stratagem, as that one causes problems in a table not densely populated in buildings)

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.
