Subject: Do you ever run 10 squads for fun?

I was wondering if anyone else has had the habit of running 10 man full squads for fluff/ fun sakes when playing non competitive games?
I've always liked bringing devastator marked up bolter marines to fill out the squads. Only thing I used to run light as a 5 man was one tactical squad to be able to fit by Company Master in a Razorback, since Rhinos lack a 11th seat for bringing librarians/chaplains, company masters with a full squad.
Do you do run anything else at max size just because it just "feels" more correct to do so?

Whenever I run my plague marines it's in squads of 7, even long after they no longer gained benefits from Legion rules.
This even applies to my collection; I have exactly 49 Plague Marines with 14 special weapons and 7 champions among them.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |

Nurgle approves. I have a small Nurgle Daemon force and I take 2 squads of 7 Nurgling swarms for troops
To answer the OP. Yes, I have the compulsion to fill squads as well and feel it's wrong to have minimum size/ non full squads UNLESS there's a fluff reason such as Chaos Daemon numbers for squad sizes.

I always run my Imperial Guardsmen and Veterans in 10-man squads .
As far as units that are allowed to have squad sizes other than 10, I like 10-girl Repentia squads, since it means somebody might live to hit back, and sometimes I have a 10-girl Battle Sisters Squad for my firebase for Act of Faith efficiency.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades! |

I tend to run max squads for Repentia for exactly the same reason, though I'm tempted to run Repentia MSU now, maybe.
Celestians, if I bother to bring them at all, I tend to use a full unit of 10.
Broadsides, I usually use a full squad of three.
As for Battle Sister Squads, though - I used to run squads of 10, but I'm going to try two squads of five in a single Rhino now - one with 2 melta/combi-plasma and one with flamer/heavy flamer/combi-plasma, fluffed as two fire teams in a single squad.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary. |

It's a infantry company with a command squad, and 3 platoons each with 3 infantry squads of 10, a command squad, and a machine gun section, supported by a tank company with 1 command tank squad and 3 tank squadrons with 3 tanks each, and an artillery battery with a command squad, a supply section of 3 ammunition haulers, and 2 firing sections of 3 self-propelled artillery pieces.
