A mate of mine has pointed out, there is nothing in the rules that restricts you making a 'Battleforge list' with negative command points..

Sure you don't get a reroll... but you can make stupid list of stupid and be perfectly legal

You can probably achieve the same battle forged list and still be up in command points.

Edit: or close enough to it.

Well in matched play you only get 3 detachments so you can't even spend enough command points to be negative

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.... probably not necessary to put yourself in CP debt but whatever floats your boat!
