Just a little while ago, I got to paint up a full force of Stormcast Eternals riding various drakes.

I was a little surprised by just how many Stardrakes fit into the force, and there were quite a number of Dracothian Guard as well (I only got a couple of them photographed).

I like the solid gold look to the Stormcast themselves, it works surprisingly well and helps give them an "unearthly" feel to them.

And the dragons look solid and awesome. There can never be enough painted dragon models in the world!

Thanks. Jewels are one of those things I love to make.

With Stormcasts in all gold, there was a bit of a trick to finding centers of interest. Rather than draw the eye to the faces of the stormcasts, I focused on the faces of the lizards they were riding. I think this worked out well, overall.
