Subject: Servo-skull made from a Xenos

I'm starting an Ordos Xenos force for Shadow War: Armageddon. My Inquisitor is definitely going to be Radical; does him using a Servo-Skull made from a Xenos skull seem reasonable?
I did a bunch of reading before I posted this question, and the think that caught my attention was that being turned into a Servo-Skull is thought to be an honor. My thought on that is that a Radical Inquisitor might use the skull of a Xenos they were allied with or who they received some powerful tool or weapon from.
What do you chummers think?

I mean...sure, I guess.
I thought the whole reason they used human skulls was to use the brain as a computer. Something tells me a Xenos brain would have different....."programming needs" that an inquisitor might not be able to address or even understand.
However, I don't see any issue with using a human brain inside a Xenos skull, with the skull itself merely being a symbol of the Inquisitor's radical...ness.

This sounds really cool aesthetically and would make perfect sense for the Ordo Xenos.

Nice idea! I can definitely see that being a curio sold by Rogue Traders to Imperial Nobles

I thought servo skulls were made from esteemed servants after their death- the remaining skull was then equipped with a computer and other fancy equipment. In that regard, few xenos' skulls would get the "honor" of being converted, unless of course it was the decision of a radical inquisitor.

The Inperium's a big place. I'm sure some people would treat servo skulls as an honour. Others it might be a crime for punishment. There's millions and millions of worlds. Wouldn't make much sense if every one thought the same thing of servo skulls

That's a pretty resounding 'yes', thanks for the feedback.

Yeah I had a similar thought about displaying the skull of a major Xenos threat as a trophy.

Becoming a servo skull after death is a great honour. That said, I could totally see a radical Inquisitor use the skull of a fearsome, defeated foe as a trophy. Awesome idea!

Sounds like a good idea for a Rogue Trader or a Ordo Xenos Inquisitor.

Maybe a legendary warboss skull etc, more a servo skull that's a mark of someone's honour kills.
Like a servo skull that has a outer warboss skull.
