Subject: Can i glue minis together with Weldbond universal adhesive?

Yea basicly that. Woulnt buy GW's expensive-ass glue so i went with something that i tought might work at my local hardware store which is Weldbond universal adhesive for " crafts, models, scrapbooking & wood" But i have no clue if this is more like PVA glue or the stuff you stick models with. I also accidentaly bought PVC glue thinking it was PVA but thats another story.

Don't use that. Just use regular super glue (I like Loctite gel glue) or plastic glue (Model Master is my preference here). You can buy plastic glue at most any craft or hobby store and super glue you can buy virtually anywhere

I can guarantee you'll find super glue at the hardware store that will work just fine for your modeling projects, unless it's a tiny mom-and-pop store. Krazy Glue, Gorilla Glue, Loctite, whatever brand is fine, and will get you squared away. Just look for cyanoacrylate, which is the chemical name for super glue. Lots of people like plastic glue (myself included) but for many many years I used nothing but super glue, and all those models are still intact.

Buy Loctite super glue. I recommend Gel Control. You can find it at any hardware store, or even Walmart.
Do not use GW tools or glues. They are standard quality with the price doubled because of the GW hobby bubble.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

First off, don't buy GW hobby products if you can avoid them.
Second off...glue shouldn't "expensive ass". You'll need three types of glue.
1) Super glue: for gluing metal to plastic and vice versa, and a few other things (it can be used on plastic + plastic but isn't ideal) $3-5 a pop. (I also recommend Loctite Gel Control)
2) Plastic cement for plastic to plastic gluing. Available at any hobby shop online or in person, often at Wal-mart in the model/hobby aisle if they have one. $3-5 a pop.
3) Glue for basing and terrain. For this I recommend Elmer's Wood Glue Max. It's superb for flocking and doing terrain work.
Generally don't take short cuts, because you'll pay for them in the end. The hobby items are not impossible to find.

I actually really like a few of GW tools. They are pricey, but the Clippers are great and it is hard to find a pin-vise that isn't poorly made. I admit that the tweezers are ridiculous but some folks do want their stuff in one purchase so I understand.

I use Gorilla glue and it seems to work just fine...

Aetare - Do you mean actual Gorilla Glue? That stuff is a dense foaming urethane, ill-suited to assembling miniatures. The company does also make a 'rubberized' cyanoacrylate, wood glue, adhesive tapes, etc. I've heard good things about Gorilla brand superglue, but heaven help the hobbyist that tries to put together troop models with the original Gorilla Glue...
OP - Unless I'm mistaken, Weldbond is basically PVA - the top rung in the WB> wood glue> "tacky" glue> Elmer's/white glue> "school"/"washable" glue (which is far inferior to glutinous rice, which fit the "primarily white" category but was cut from the list, due to the polymer requirement) hierarchy of water-soluble adhesive strength. Still quite useful for basing and/or terrain projects, but less than ideal for anything more than temporarily tacking together parts on models meant for subsequent disassembly or lightly affixing clear parts on display models without buying special products.
For even semi-permanent assembly, I'd go with CA/superglue. When I want greater strength and a guaranteed permanent bond, I use a solvent cement - plastic glues like Model Masters, Tamiya cement... even the gallon cans of caustic MEK from the hardware store, all dissolve styrene before evaporating away, leaving the join to solidify into a seamless, welded piece.
I use all three adhesive types (and many more!) for miniature-related tasks, but would never recommend Weldbond for model assembly, except in very specific and uncommon situations.

Yeah just get superglue/cyanoacrylate.
I use plastic cement mostly when working with plastic models (Testors with the metal tip or Revell are my weapons of choice), but it doesn't work with resin or metal so superglue is usually a necessity anyway.
