Counter atack with +1 A from Anrakyr and with My Will Be Done = 3 A 2+ WS 7 S -4 AP 2 D
Awesome

Triarch Stalker [8 PL, 158pts]: Particle Shredder
For buff all other shoot. I think also about Twin Heavy Gauss Cannon because better range but it was more expensive and do less D.

+ Heavy Support +

Doomsday Ark [10 PL, 203pts]
For his long range because rest of army are slow

+ Dedicated Transport +

Ghost Ark [8 PL, 170pts]
For even more durability

++ Total: [111 PL, 1997pts] ++

Generally i will try march with troops and HQ with GA support. Good durability and 24" fire power.
For counter fast vehicle with long range i take Doomsday Ark.
For counter big meel gay i take Nightbringer and Lychguard.
Troop also get benefit from +1 A when get close.

Any advice? Someone test army like this? I rarely see Nightbringer in army list but i think he is awesome - a lot of very good hit = +2 toHit +2 toWound -4 AP and some mortal.

Your lychguard will probably be shot to pieces before they reach the enemy because of footslogging. Nightbringer could use some wraiths or scarabs to go in front of him as he moves far faster than the rest of your army but will become a top priority if moves out in front of your other units.

Warrior blobs are good, Immortals with teslas come off redundant here, you could 2 sets of 5x immortals with the gauss weapon to shoot at terminators and other higher armor units.

Doomsday Ark is very dependent on the terrain setup. If you move turn 1 or turn 2 against a fast moving army they will descend on you, because your doomsday ark is your only long range attack here other lists will maneuver important units between pieces of terrain, or their AV will pop out from behind cover on their turn and shoot down your ark (this is what I do against my necron playing friend when he brings the Doomsday Ark).

Does Anakyr come with a Ress Orb? If not, drop him for overlord with orb. This item can be tremendously useful if 50% chance RP doesn't work out and they just cleared out 8 to 12 cron warriors.

Basically:

cons
-Nightbringer is dope, but without fast moving units to soak bullets for him he is stuck behind your warrior line
-Footslogging Lychguard that only have 3+ will be the first target in your army, assuming Nightbringer isn't out of position
-Doomsday Ark is just unfortunately middling
-Immortals with tesla are redundant with your basic warriors who do a plenty good job of killing space mehreens. Try the other gun instead for shooting at TEQ or MEQ in cover.
-Anakyr doesn't come with a ress orb, at the moment he is buffing a lychguard squad that is very squishy. Try overlord with Ress Orb, still gives my will be done

pros:
-Necron big blobs are dope
-Ghost Ark especially with quantum shielding is good, can transport immortals too
-Illuminor is an awesome HQ
-Triarch Stalker is nice

comment: It's looking like necron's biggest struggle will be dealing with vehicles. If you were facing down an Imperial Guard list with 6-8 vehicles how would you approach them? What about 2 rhinos and an Imperial Knight? Vehicles are durable now and almost certain to be more common. See what you can do to get eke out a more reliable AV situation.

Massed dice will kill tanks. Anything that wounds T7/8 on 5+ or better and has at least a -1AP is useful. The D-Ark is fine btw, you just need to be judicious about when you move it.

I agree that the Lychguard are going to be hard to get stuck in. I know I'd shoot them early on if I were facing this list.

I don't think the Immortals are redundant either - that's some excellent firepower.

Have you considered running Destroyers instead of Lychguard? More dakka and they can still screen the big fella. Or you could flesh out you infantry some more. Mobility is always good though. Scarabs for bubble wrap are another useful idea.

I don't think immortals are inherently redundant, but give them AP2 instead of tesla, especially if the goal turns 2 or 3+ is to use my will be done on lychguard. If necron warriors are firing at a unit that is T8 with 10 wounds and a 3+ save (as an example profile) it will take on average 180 shots, 90 shots if they are T7. That's around 2 turns of firing with all the necron warriors in rapid fire range to take out the vehicle.

I do some mathammer to compare tesla and gauss. With stalker boost reroll 1 and MWBD against T >6 and sv 4+.
10 immortals with tesla do 5,8 dmg from 24".
10 immortals with gauss do 5,4 dmg from 12" and 2,7 from 24".
And tesla have powerfull overwatch.
Without boost tesla lose but i want give him boost so it isnt that case.
Also tesla lose for sv more then 4+ but most vehicles havent sucha armor and most model with 3+ have also inv.
In each case gauss win only for 12" range witch was danger for immortals.

Ideally you have other tools for T8, Like the D-Ark. Thankfully it's a lot less common that T7. Warriors will strip wounds much more effectively off those T7 targets. I might go Gauss on Immortals if the rest of the list was fine for hordes action, but mostly the Tesla performs about as well or better, especially as mentioned above in the 12-24" range bracket. Plus overwatch shenanigans. I think I'd keep the Tesla in this instance.

?!?
That is patently wrong.
Spoiler:
A Ghost Ark can transport 10 <Dynasty> INFANTRY models, which must be Warriors or (Characters).

In addition,

10 Lychguard with Warscythes + Anrakyr is potentially one of the hardest hitting combos we've got.
The down side is it's pretty difficult to best get them into position (involves Deceiver, Zahndrekh, Obyron, and a Ghost Ark).

You said "Illuminor is an awesome HQ", but never said why...

Tesla Immortals are great. Numbers back it up.

Compare with cryptek. For 39 pts you get better long range wepon and boost for all troops. +1 S wasnt fantastic but +1 T is worth pay and +1 BS was super. Also have better stats: M, W, A and Sv. Only dont give inv but 5+ inv for troops with armor wasnt very good.

After same mathammer, research and game i update my list. Thanks to all for advice.
