I was looking through images of various Tau conversions and ran across something that I'd been looking for back when the Stormsurge came out - a well designed solution to the "open cockpit" silliness.



Has anyone seen this on Shapeways? Have they tried it out? Most specifically, how well does it fit?

If it fits well enough, I'm tempted to get one as well as the arms so I can have a better looking Stormsurge model.

That would be a good idea to make! I don't own a stormsurge but if I ever got one then I'd be definitely searching for something similar. I'll take a look on shapeways but their search function is borderline uselsss unfortunately.

edit: Their search function was as useful as I expected but normal search engine searches got me this.

Well, you could say I'm looking to see if it's "in the wild" so to speak. I really just want to see one on a built Stormsurge so I can decide if I should get one for myself.
