I really want to get this guy as I think its a superb model/sculpt but dont play AoS or any other fantasy game.

Any ideas what I could proxy him as if anything for 40k?
My initial thoughts was a FW squiggoth (small version)?

The smaller Squiggoth might work. A Gorkanaut (or possibly Morkanaut?) would be also work. It's a little bit smaller than those, but with the Megaboss on top, you could convert him to be carrying a a large weapon to count for its guns.

Really, the Maw-crusha is big beefy wyvern, and can fly across the battlefield. So is there something that you could use with that in mind?

Hmm, I like the gork/morkanaut idea!

FW had this weird ork copter thing didnt they, could use him as that I suppose too
