As the title says, I'd like to merge my BaC models with a 40k TS army, but I'm not quite sure how that'd work. Your suggestions are much appreciated!

BaC + forge world upgrade sprue ?

say they were lost in a warp storm and when the big space vagina opened up you got a fresh influx of Tsons that spent relative to them short amount of time in it. so they dont look as warped out as regular Tsons?

Mix and match the Mk IVs with Rubrics. Swap torsos, legs. arms, shoulders, backpacks and bolters around on a 1:1 ratio.

Hunt down the Rubric heads from bit sites.

Swap your Cataphractii for BoP Tartaros Terminators. Mix and match those with the Scarab Occult.

FW upgrade kits are good as well for Torsos and Shoulders.

The FW Contemptors fit right in with the Aesthetic already as well.

What he said.

You can knock out some sweet mark of tzeentch termies with loadouts that Scarab Occult is restricted from and still keep a consistent aesthetic.

There's no reson to not use Cataphractii terminators as Scarab Terminators, the 30K unit can use either suit of armor, so in theory a 40K TS army could have either pattern in their force.

There's a GREAT reason not to use Cataphractii in a Thousand Sons army for 40k.

Aesthetics.

The smooth, streamlined appearance of Mk IV and Tartator patterns just meshes that much better. Plus you also appear to be missing the point of mixing and matching bits - things like helmets, heads, shoulders - you'll find that Tartaros and Scarab Occult are quite interchangeable as a whole - Cataphractii and Scarab Occult...really aren't.

I think they work fine if you use the FW upgrades for them

Fair enough, but he'd also be able to easily swap Tartaros for Cataphractii in any trading group and they're interchangeable - he's not required to get a seperate FW upgrade kit in order to utilise the unit and keep the aesthetics.
