2000 pt GK Vanguard Detachment (1CP) awaiting feedback. Lots of hammers. I've given swords to everyone who doesn't have a hammer, mostly because I think they look cooler than the halberds and falchions. I collect GK because I like the aesthetic of them, so I haven't really taken into account how they play.

Looking for feedback on how to get the most out of this list, and/or things I should consider changing.

Voldus 190

Apothecary 90
Paladin Ancient 142
3xPaladins - Hammer, Incinerator 196

5xTerminators - Hammer, Incinerator 261
5xTerminators - Hammer, Psycannon 261

5xInterceptors - Hammer, Incinerator 150
5xInterceptors - Hammer, Psycannon 150

Dreadknight - Hammer, Incinerator, Psilencer, Teleporter 240
Dreadknight - Hammer, Psycannon, Psilencer, Teleporter 230

Vindicare Assassin 90

You can't take the heavy weapon on the Paladins unless you have a squad of 5 unfortunately.

For points battles I would recommend Paladin units, they are more points efficient generally than Troop terminators. If it were my list I would ditch the Terminator Heavy weapons, make them all Paladin Squads, and use the point savings to make another unit of something or another Apothecary or whatever. Depends on how optimised you wanna go.

I actually didn't notice that rule. At least it's two heavies for every five models.

I haven't built any of the Terminator squads yet, so will check if I can find points for more Paladins without them.

Is there any way you can swap the callidus for a second Vindicare?

I usually write my lists with 2x Vindicare and then swap them for the other assassins as the opposing army requires. (Vindicare are the most expensive)

This is a tactic called "the dick move".
Actually, no, its not a tactic.

Your assuming he means he literally brings a finished list with vindicares listed then swaps them. Instead of assuming he simply builds his list ideas with vindicares than when he is going to play a game swaps his assassins for the most effective ones.

Nothing Dick move about that. He is optimizing his army.

Ignoring the dick move/tactic debate, this is possible in my list. I just need to magnetize a Paladin special weapon so I can switch between one of the 20 point ones and the 10 point Psilencer.

Does the list look decent otherwise?

I would only run Psilencer on the non dreadknight units.
