So a friend and I are planning a 2500 point game to see how it varies from using Power Ratings. So I'll be playing DA, which got better it seems.

So here's the list:

Battalion Detachment:


So my plan is to keep the Lychguard with the Overlord and keep them close to the Immortals for the My Will Be Done, giving them 20 Tesla shots, hitting on 2's, creating more hits on a 5+.
The Triarch Stalker also keeps with the Immortal to target a unit before they fire allowing them to re-roll those 1's .

Monolith starts on board as do the Scythes, Praetorians go on the Tombworld. The Night Scythe moves behind the enemy line, hopefully survives a turn of shooting, then drops of the 10 man squad. If that fails, they just show up via the Monolith. Doomscythe for Vehicles/Deathwing termies. Warriors and Barges move forward to target infantry and anything really.

Deathmarks stay in reserve in case he deepstrikes the terminators. I'm not exactly sure where to put the Cryptek, probably withing range of the Lychguard and Immortals.

C&C is welcome, I know his list is usually some Ravenwing, some Deathwing, and a lot of Tac marines, if that helps

If you can help it don't start the monolith on the board. That thing takes forever to get anywhere. Even just deepstriking it turn 1 further up than the 6"+d6 it would have moved normally is useful, +its not like you're going to take the praetorians off the tomb world turn 1.

Doomscythe have -1 to BS for main weapon... If you get openground table better get doomsday ark?
Annihilation Barge works better with tesla because its assault type like main weapon.
You need more -3/-5 AP dmg. Think about doomsday ark or destroyers.

That's a pretty good idea, I just figured if it started on the board I wouldn't have to worry about him deep striking the terminators behind my lines to deny it.

I don't own any destroyers, but I will try to replace the doomscythe with the ark
