Whiteshield Conscript Trooper

Here's a selection of some Rogue Trader first release minis I did. The space pirate I painted years and years ago, but just now got around to basing. The Space Dwarf (this is the pre-Squat era) and Imperial Heavy Trooper are more recent. But, the comparison is a nice reference for how far I've come. For some reason the older miniatures are more fun to paint. Maybe because there's less to them than modern GW figures.

Unfortunately, my phone's camera doesn't take to my lighting setup like my DSLR does, but eh, effort.

Comments are appreciated, of course.

Rogue Trader Space Dwarf (also released as "Irn-Bonce, The Squat")

Thanks for looking and keep on painting.

Very Cool! They are all such funny characterful sculpts.
You could make this a "share your own" thread for folks to share all their retro RT coolness.

I have an old RT Eldar guardian languishing in the drawer that I'd happily paint up good and proper just to add to the collection.
