I plan on using a Spartan to deliver 15 khorne berserkers and a dark apostle into combat (as the spartan and berserkers are great now). My question is, can these berserkers embark as 3 units of 5, rather than one unit of 15? This would be helpful as I want to run them in a vanguard detachment (3 elites). I can't find anything in the rulebook that mentions how many units can be in a transport, and in the spartan datasheet when describing it's "In the Belly of the Beast" rule, it states that "At the end of any movement phase in which one or more units disembarks" - which suggests that multiple units can be taken inside it. Additionally, as characters can't join a unit anymore, if only one is allowed then that would mean that you can't take your character in a transport with another unit.

What are your thoughts?

Page 9 of the Battle Primer describes how Transports work. You can get the Battle Primer here.

There is no restriction on the number of units that can Embark on a Transport, just the number of friendly models. Your Spartan Assault Tank can carry 25 models (Assuming the Traitor Spartan has the same rules as the Relic) so you shouldn't have any issue putting 15 Berserkers (3x5) and a Dark Apostle in there.
