The primaris and death guard marines in Dark imperium are anatomical abominations, haunting eyesores to all except those who dwell the comic book stores. Looking at video reviews of the set i was fooled into thinking they were graceful, but no, my set arrived today and the miniatures did not survive the scrutiny of a trained eye.

Despite the tone I have set with this message it is however positive news for everyone. For those who are not able to see this discrepancy, it doesn't matter, you could paint a can blue and call it an ultramarine. For those who do care, the dream of a mature, graceful armoured warrior from the future is yet alive, and its up to you to make it!

PS: Truescale does not simply refer to a certain height, but a height with certain proportions tied to it.

Vigo. Spain.

They look good to me. Warhammer has always been comic-style anatomical proportionated, not historical or realistic.

Even being "heroic" they look much better proportionated that the old space marines.

EDIT: But why I'm responding to a obvious troll like you...

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

It is easy to pull the troll card. Why argue and try to present facts and risk being proven wrong when you can simply pass GO and collect 200. It is ok though, we are programmed to take the shortest and easiest route to the goal.

I assume you have heard about the Silver Sharks? (Seriously, those are a baitworthy idea from the start!)

Is it really good bait when every reply to a thread is "lol that's some good bait"?
