Thought it would be worth making a list of problems with the FW indices, so we can work together and spam them with emails and fb posts until they fix them.

Stuff I've noticed (mostly chaos)

The Faithless, The Tainted and The Skulltakers are all subfactionsof the Alpha Legion, Death Guard and World Eaters respectively. Please can rules be included allowing these keywords to be used interchangeably, in the same way a Space Marine successor chapters?

Can a list be provided of index chaos units able to take the Death Guard and Thousand Sons legion keywords?

The following Forge World units are missing from index chaos:
Chaos Knight (daemon version)
Emperors Children Sonic Dreadnought
Hellforged Vindicator laser Destroyer
Thousand Sons Osiron Dreadnought (a guy can hope)

The relic rule in Imperial Armour index adeptus astartes makes it disproportionately difficult to field a relic Lord of war choice.
In essence two non-relic LOW are needed for every relic LOW in a superheavy detachment. Please consider amending to allow relic LOWs to be fieldable.

The contemptor dreadnought (All versions) are missing the carapace missile launcher option.

Butcher cannons have different wording on how LD debuffs stack/don't stack in its various different rules descriptions throughout the book.

can't you just take a single LOW in a super heavy auxillery detachment?

No, because you can't take more relic than non-relic options of the same battlefield role in each detachment.

Odd, but tbh chaos should keep a combat arm.

I don't know, that's the problem. Compare the butcher cannon on pg 79 to the one on pg 80. I could have sworn I saw the different versions in the unit descriptions too but I can find the second one (pg 80) on any data sheets now. Probably just a typo then. Why have it listed on both pages though?

Honestly, I was expecting worse. The slates aren't copy paste from the imperial version, which is great. I haven't seen any glaring balance issues this far (but , early days)
