Has anyone here attempted what this guy in the video is doing? I want a lot more plasma in my AM and I'm looking for a cheap way to do it. I have a lot of plasma pistols laying around and would love to try this. Anyone have any advice or tips?

Probably work

Those look pretty passable, if not perfect. I've done something similar with bolters to make combi-weapons, and i've cut up those Cadian arms more than a billion times to make bolter acolytes, so it's not something that would be too hard to do either.

It's a good find. My advice is to get a good cutting mat, if you don't have one already. Patience is important too. I learned that when making the bolter acolytes. It's more work than it looks like.

Now, I wonder if I have any more plasma pistols laying around...

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Thanks for the pic. Looks pretty good. I think I will shorten the gun a little, but works!
