Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Tyranid Carnifex kit? A friend of mine is getting back into the hobby with me and has chosen to pick up nids, but the carnifex brood is apparently "temporarily out of stock" and has been for quite sometime now. We've emailed GW and they've just essentially said they don't know when it'll be back in stock, and this seems odded for such an iconic, mainstream beasty (even if a lot of the other, newer gribblies are better..) Wondered if anyone here knows what's going on with that, they planning to repackage the big guys or something?

They could be redesigning the kit.

I think the new edition gave them better Deathspitters. I don't know if the old sprue had Deathspitters on them or not, but if they were, they would have been the old ones and not the new S7 variants.

Might also be redesigning Devourers since they have the better ones.

Good point Frozocrone... since every Nid player had 'counts as' TL-Devourers, converted green stuff, or the expensive FW kit - I bet they're gonna remake that.
