Unquenchable Resolve: At the end of the first Fight phase in which Fuegan suffers one or more unsaved wounds, his Strength and Attacks characteristics increase by 2. These bonuses last for the rest of the game.

Yes, the wound is ignored. But does that mean it also counts as saved? As I said, the old feel no pain mechanic specifically stated that wounds ignored this way counted as being saved which made it very clear that the 7th edition versions of these abilities could not work together. But in 8th?

If I'm understanding you (docortom & Ghas) correctly, I believe you are saying that wounds ignored due to Last to Fall are essentially retconned out of existence and are treated as if they never occurred at all. So when you get around to the end of the fight phase when Unquenchable Resolve would trigger, they don't exist and the question of whether they count as saved or unsaved is irrelevant. Using that interpretation, I suppose I'd have to agree. Oh well :(

I mean, I would play it as did your character take a wound? no ? then no. The unquenchable resolve would activate if it actually lost the wounds not if it fails then ignores it because of another ability.

Whoops!

I was adding this question to my FAQ submission thread (because its definitely a good question based on how similar things were ruled in previous editions), and when I finished, I started deleting the posts in this thread (cause that's what I do in the FAQ submission thread to keep things nice and tidy).

So my apology to the OP and all the people that took the time to comment in this thread.

I'm going to go ahead and lock this now because it no longer makes much coherent sense now that so many of the posts were deleted from it.

Sorry again.
