I'm very spatially challenge, can't envision things, put things together well, the whole lot. So single piece models are great for me. Of course, I have a bunch of tyranids I've put together with the instructions. Naturally there's a ton of pieces left over. I know some won't really be useful, a million termagant spinefists, etc. But I'm wondering about suggestions for others.

For example, I put together a walking Hive Tyrant with talons and a heavy venom cannon. What can I do with the extra bits? What ones would I need to make a swarmlord out of the remains? Or is there a better use? Are there any websites you can refer me to that focus on what to do with the extra bits?

Thanks!

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Generally what I do with bits is leave them in a big box. Then one day I'll say "hmmm, I'd really like to run some chaos bikers but I don't have any and I'm too lazy/stingy to buy some more", so I'll grab the bits that I have and see if I can't kit bash something together. I've done this with chaos bikes, chaos terminators, chosen, daemon princes, etc. Basically what I'm saying is: wait until you need a model to finish your list then you'll be glad you kept around some old Imperium models and some nid bits i.e. ogryns + nid bits = a quickly put together warrior brood.

Clip em out

put them in a baggy or a box

shove it way down in your shame drawer and never speak of it again.

you will be glad you did if you lose a bit or mess something up.
