Hi guys!
I thought I'd have a go at a tyranid brigdade with the models i have at my disposal.
I got no AG except for the tyrant guard, i used the points on more bodies instead. Its hard to fit 2k tyranids into a bridade, but I think this might work out well. Let me share some of my ideas with the list.

The majority of my units are going to be chasing down the enemy lines round 1 and 2.
Trygon will bring the big unit of devourer termagants at the end of my first movement phase mainly to clear screening units. If there aren't enough screening units he'll bring genestealers instead.
Lictors will charge key units like mortars and tanks to hinder their shooting for a round or take out misplaced characters.
Biovores hold backfield objectives with no synapse. So they'll be shooting at whatever. I'll try to deploy them so they can hit something valuable.
Malantrhope is there mainly to fill a hq slot and to give the BL, SL and a units of genestealers a buff round 1 if i dont start. Maybe he'll keep up with the SL if he rolls well on his advance.
SL does his thang, getting genestealers into cc round one after the termagants has cleared some screening units. (best case scenario)
Broodlord advances and tries to keep up with the first unit of genestealers.
Rippers stay in reserve to pop up on objectives.
Gargoyles tries to give -1 to hit on as many units as they can and maybe even charge someone round 1.

Looks like a fun list! You've got plenty of mobility with all those Wings, and Tunnels Plus Lictors I think you can just play careful, tank the Alpha, and counter attack with good sucess. If you get a chance, I'd like to hear how it does for you.

Good luck! and good hunting!

Thanks! I just realized I didn't get the trygon prime.. So I'm probably gonna be low on synapse. A couple units of shrieks could maintan synapse. Too bad i don't have the models.

Maybe so, but you can slingshot one of your Synapse foward using the Swarmy can't you? Otherwise yeah, I like to use more Synapse..a Zoey might be a cheap and durable add in, or a x3 Brood of Warriors.

I guess I can use the skill on the malathrope, but i need that skill for horms and genes t:1 and t:2. Zoanthrope is too slow, I already have the slow ass malanthrope.

You need a babysitter for the Biovores..? Zoey might be slow, but she can Fly, that might be handy, but I think I prefer Warriors for extra Synapse...so far.

I was planning on leaving them to hold backfield objectives. It's only 50 points, what's the cheapest synapse? 120 points?
