So this is a bit of a re-hash of the "double special rule stacking question" but I think it's a little different because of how the sabre weapons battery is worded.

The relevant rule in question:

"If this model has a defense searchlight, at the start of each shooting phase it may select a single enemy model within 48" and within line of sight. One friendly REGIMENT unit that attacks the chosen unit adds 1 to any hit rolls until the end of the shooting phase."

Clearly these "markerlights" are spent like 7th edition Tau (used only for 1 unit and only on one unit) but can a unit benefit from 2 of these effects if I have two Defense Searchlights that I put on the same unit, giving me +2 to hit?

The core rules state that all modifiers are cumulative. It doesn't seem like searchlights have an "at least one" type clause for the +1 bonus, so it looks like by RAW you can stack them.
