Who does assault better, orks or wold eaters with daemon back up?

Hellbrutes and Daemon princes are fast and very killy in melee (8 attacks each), and berserkers are nuts in combat. Not just for fighting twice, but chain axes adjust the odds significantly, making wounding more likely and saving less likely.

World eaters are also backed up with much better supporting fire, which makes melee, once it hits, much more effective.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Chaos Decimators are faster than Helbrutes, live longer with 5++, regain a wound a turn, and deal similar amounts of damage to Helbrutes all for 11 points more. Blood Slaughterers are a little more expensive clocking in at 180 points but dealing more damage than both Brutes and Decis by a mile.

I know nothing about Ork assaults to be honest. I know they rely on massive blobs of bois smashing into things, whereas Khorne relies on smaller units dealing tons of damage. We don't benefit from 20 man Berzerker blobs, we do potentially 16 wounds with 5 bois. Three Bloodcrushers make 13 attacks on the charge with 9 jugger attacks on top. Where Orks don't mind losing a handful of models a turn, losing a single model in a Khorne unit significantly weakens the unit's damage output. Bois will be able to WAAAG up the board, but we need vehicles and cover or we'll get blown off the board in a single turn. This makes World Eaters a much harder list to play in my opinion.

The two armies do the same thing very differently.
