i was curious if there are renegade guard or marines that actually hate chaos but are considered bad for hating the imperium as well?

The Crimson Sabres are also a (technically) traitor chapter that hates chaos. They're still loyal to the Imperium, they just get blown out of the sky (space?) If they show their face.

Make your own renegade group and have them hate Chaos but also be hunted by the Imperium. It's perfectly valid and I approve.

It's Alpha Legion: nobody knows what those guys are thinking or which side they're on.

The Relictors are a chapter that operate similar to a Radical Inquisitor trying to use Chaos artifacts against Chaos. The Imperium basically chased them off the defense of Cadia into the Eye of Terror. If they switched sides or continue the fight against Chaos in the eyes is left open to interpretation.

**King Pariah**

Knights of Blood, a successor chapter of the Blood Angels. They were bold enough to return to Baal to help in its defense against the Nids.
