Comparison shots of Primaris are all over Google, but it's harder to get a good look on the size of the new plague marines. I read these are regular size, but they sure look much bigger than classic space marine models...
How big are these really when compared to older CSM miniatures and the newer bigger ones, like the Thousand Sons or DV Chosen?

They are about the size of Terminators.

Interesting... So the Plague Marine is the same size as a Thousand Son which is about the same size as a Terminator?
Does anybody have a comparison shot of a new Thousand Son (and possibly a Plague Marine too) next to a Dark Vengeance Chosen and/or classic chaos space marine?
These new sizes are sure getting confusing.

Thats a pretty small space marine.
Ergotoxin, I just build themselves today and compared them with Lord Kranon and the Chosen of Dark Vengeance, and they are maybe 1/2 of a head taller but they mix pretty well with them.
With the older regular chaos Marines, I don't know. I don't have new Rubrics to compare with them.
You need to count that the Plague Marine is in a 32mm base and the Chosen in a 25mm, that is smaller, so probably if bot where into a 32mm one they should be of the same height probably. Or the difference go down to something like 1/4 head taller.

It does seem like most of the evil is in it's base. I think if I end up with some of them I'll sand down the bases (or rebase) so they are as thin as the stuff I own on 25's.
They'll still be larger than my Space Marines, but at least because they are the most daemonic of the Traitor Astartes they can be explained as "swollen with Chaos energies".

Plus, the Chosen is moving forward and the Death Guard just standing upright. But all chosen are moving forward so they all look smaller.
What I have found is that (maybe for the lack of helmet) the Chosen Champion, Karanak, is the smallest one.

Anyone have a comparison to modern (post-32mm) Marines, like Deathwatch? It's kind of hard to judge on an old base with a model that's what, 6 years old or something?

I'm pretty sure that the normal Deathguard are as tall as Deathwathc and New Rubric Marines.
People said that they were Primaris Marines size but they aren't. They are much bulkier tought, and with their horns they appear bigger than what they really are.

Thank you for all the information! The difference between Plague Marines and Chosen isn't too big, which is great.
Pre-7th miniatures look pretty obsolated by now though.
