Curious, Thoughts on Bolt pistol/plasma pistol combos that can take them. All that I know that can take them are Cannoness and Serephim supiriors that can take Bolt/Plasma pistol combos.

Are they worth while to take at all? was thinking for a serephim supirior might be and option but a cannoness probably has better options.

They're... Still not great, even in 7th. Plasma Pistols are better than they were because they're less than half the cost, but you're generally much better off taking a combi-plasma on your Cannoness, since 'Locked in close combat' is the last place you want to be anyways for her, and even with your re-rolls on 1s, overheating and killing your Cannonness is just not worth it.
It's slightly better on the Seraphim Superior, in that you aren't giving up access to a combi-plasma and overheating won't cost you as much, but you're losing out on accuracy, and it's generally just going to go to waste since Seraphim are pretty overcosted in most situations anyways.
