Hello all! First post after years of lurking the webway.

Starweaver - Shuriken Cannon x2 (5/99)

-I like the vehicles to first charge in to soak up overwatch.
-One big unit of Troupes are an absolute power house with Shadowseer support and with a Leader in toe. Just a good all around unit in this edition.
-The bikes. This is one of two points of criticism I'm looking for. I've had underwhelming use with 2 smaller units and haven't tried 1 larger unit, but am optimistic about since it cuts down on total units for deployment. What do you think? And, should I go with Haywire Cannon?
-Second point of criticism I'm looking for is in the voidweavers. Should I keep 3 separate units or 1 of 1 and 1 of 2 voidweavers? This would also be to lessen the amount on total units for deployment.
-As a final note, I'm not interested in adjoining eldar or dark eldar into the mix, just my gambling jesters.

Please, feed back is always welcome. I'm also very interested to see how you guys field your quins.

I don't have as many units as you do, but I like this set up. I was thinking of complimenting my Harlies with Druks but yours is very viable. A few personal notes on my end tho:

After a few experiments with Skyweavers, I just settle on Star Bolas instead of Zephyrglaives. It doesn't state it's one use only anymore and packs extra firepower with the shuricannon. Also, I find the haywire cannon less needed this time around as it doesn't do as much damage to non-vehicle units than a shuricannon and with the new rules regarding vehicles, shuricannons can mess most vehicles up pretty easily now. Keyword is most.

I personally would have another Shadowseer instead of a second Troupe Master, only because missed wounds are not as important with charge tactics with Harlies as much as they are squishy. Plus the extra Smite, Phantasmancy and the Hallucinogenic Grenades can be pretty devastating against low leadership units.

I prefer Void over Starweavers, only because it's not that difficult to move in fast and quick with Harlies, but it depends on your playstyle.

Just my two cents, but Harlies can be pretty versatile for the minimal models we have to work with.

I'm not convinced the foot harlequin unit is viable. It will receive a lot of fire and become quite useless quickly, unless terrain is really helpful to obscure them completely. If you use the Shadowseer power to make them move again, the shadowseer gets left behind.
I will be interested to hear how it fares. I plan to keep all of my troupes mounted.
As for the Voidweavers, I'm not sure. I will have 2 in my list and I'm not sure if I want them to be single or paired up.

I agree with switching out the Troupe Leader for Shadowseer. Smite is fantastic. The foot squad is great at handling enemy deep strikers and close range objectives, but I am wanting to weigh another unit in Starweaver against it. The Star Bola is a grenade and a model can only fire a weapon or a grenade and not both.
"Each time a unit shoots, a single modelin the unit that is equipped with Grenades may throw one instead of firing any other weapon."
I'm not impressed with how grenades are handled.

True about the grenades, something I overlooked. However, they are really not all that bad in combat. The Shadowseer is your friend. That extra -1 to wound rolls really comes in handy, combined with a successful Fog of Dreams really helps against re-rollers such as Guilliman since re-rolls only happen on base failures pre-modifiers.
