As per the Halo Launchers, a Storm Talon Interceptor in cover would get a 2+ rerollable armour save. Because the Storm Talon lost Hover, the fact that it needs to move all the time makes it harder to exploit this ability; do you think that it is still useful? The Storm Talon, is currently the only unit in the game to have a blanket immunity to small arms fire when in cover; in 7th this was much more common, but is it a practical tactic to use in a game of 8th?

How would any of the flyers get cover?

Sorry, the Stormhawk. RE flyers and cover; some ruins are large enough to fit a flyer base inside.
