They are coming from a seller named cctextures2. The seller allows only one purchase every 10 days. This seems abnormal to me. Any way it could be a forgery? Anyone have experience with seller? They have a 100% feedback, but do people fake this kind of thin? Not accusing, just think it's a great deal.
Thanks

Probably a recaster. If you want a cheap baneblade that no-one except rainman can tell is fake, buy it.

if the quality is there sure buy it, but I have seen some recasts that had mold lines all over as if their mold was not a solid piece and with holes and divits in surfaces that should have been flat or holes in detail I am pretty sure my 4 year olds would be able to tell it from a real one.
I would make sure if I were to buy a recast to use paypal and dispute if it does not at least look passable, now if there are a few blemishes here and there but overall it works and you can easily green stuff or fix with paint then party on.

How are you supposed to know it's recast until you've got it in hand? Maybe it's just cheap, maybe the buyer is inexperienced.
Nothing is "very obviously" anything unless you make radical assumptions about the buyer's prior knowledge.

aye hence the advice to use pay pal. I have heard horror stories of buying with a debit card through ebay and not having the same consumer protections so it is a dispute between you and some seller somewhere and $100 or even a few hundred would not be worth pursuing.

Nothing about that screams recast. It's labelled as new in the box. While recasts do exist, it would be stupid easy to spot.
You have little to risk when using paypal. If you want a baneblade, go for it.

He's in the US and the listing claims brand new. Plus, recasting a tank like the baneblade must be a MASSIVE pain in the ass, and $99 isn't ridiculously cheap.
I'd bet that it is authentic. Moreover, if it is not, there would be no easier case to make with ebay for a fraudulent sale.
I know he says he doesn't accept refunds, but if you buy it, and it isn't a new on sprue baneblade (or if it's a brick, or something clearly not what he claimed), ebay will step in and make it right.
And you can always contact the buyer to ask him directly. And again, if he says it's authentic, and it's a recast, you'll have evidence to hand to ebay.

There is seriously zero risk here. If it's not NIB, you win. If it's a recast (which will be super easy to spot like I said), you win. 100 bones out the door for a superheavy is nice if you want a superheavy.
Paypal/Ebay favors the buyer to an absurd level. You are so bubble wrapped it's not even funny. Go buy it - or hell maybe I'll buy it and post the result here on Dakka just for the lulz

Just to throw in one other thing. It's not uncommon for the ebay sellers to ship models without the box (I guess this saves on the shipping). I've purchased plenty of models this way with no problem. Though it would usually say so in the description.

Buddy of mine just showed me the recast of a 30k tank. Even though he spent hours fixing the mold lines you could still see that they were everywhere.
Don't get me wrong it looked great but the guy sold it from china.

I have a couple recasts actually. One was awesome. One had some problems. I would say go for it. On a tank like that you can add camo and bits like extra tread to cover minor imperfections. If it is a mess then make it chaos or orkify it. Can't really lose from a modeling standpoint. To be sure you might contsc the seller and ask if it is perfect without issues and if so he might just make sure to send you the very best pieces of he recasting op.

A recast of a non-copyrightable tank....
If you really like the look of the baneblade then go for it. Otherwise you can probably find a historical alternative.
If you need it for official tourny - ....people play this game competitively?
